Cantor Eric Moses was born in 1970 in Sudbury, Ontario, and has been singing since the age of six. He holds an MBA from York  University and is a graduate of the Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute under the direction of Naftali Herstik, Cantor Emeritus of the Jerusalem Great Synagogue.

Cantor Moses has released two CDs: Moses Sings and Moses Live. He served as President of the Toronto Council of Hazzanim from 2006-2008 and produced tributes to Cantors Bagley z"l, Danto z"l and Kirshblum during his tenure.

Cantor Moses served as hazzan of the prestigious Shaare Zion Congregation in Montreal from 1996 until 2000. As he embarks on his second decade as our hazzan, he continues to inspire the congregation with the rich musical traditions of the Jewish people.

Moses Live celebrates Cantor Eric Moses' 10th anniversary as a Cantor. It is a collection of live recordings, many with symphony orchestra and choir. "Moses Live" is dedicated to the Cantor's beloved wife, Dr. Melissa Lieberman-Moses, a cancer survivor. All proceeds from the sales of this CD will be donated to the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. 

Moses Sings is Cantor Moses’ first CD released in 1999.  It is a recording of liturgical music featuring cantor and choir with the Shaare Zion Choir in Montreal, under the direction of Lou Burko.
